Exodus: Top OAPs shun Fad FM Calabar in search of Greener Pastures

Jossy and Mercypedia have joined the list of On Air Personalities that have migrated from Calabar based private radio station, Fad 93.1 FM, to pursue their career by pitching tents with alternatives. Initially it was just Barbara Young who crossed over to Hit 95.9 FM effortlessly after it seemed to her that she had no future with Fad FM.

The duo of Jossy and Mercy recently joined the newly launched radio station Sparkling FM and their lives seem to now have a glow.

However, the reasons for their departures has remained under the carpet, as all three (3) presenters who left Fad FM have refused to talk about their exit. Investigations reveal that it may have been due to non-payment of wages or poor staff welfare.

Whatever the case maybe, the airwaves in Calabar and environ will witness a battle for listenership as another radio station, Correct FM is following the steps of Sparkling FM to put other radio stations in the city on their toes, bringing to 4, the number of privately owned radio stations in Cross River State.
