Calabar Festival enters day 14, and has already paraded top acts and budding ones with potentials, yet still having about 16 more days to wrap up the fun filled 30 day long event activities.
Today, Saturday 14th December is tagged ‘The Calabar food Clinic 1’ featuring:
- Food exhibition by Restaurants, Eateries, Hotels & individuals- Children’s Cooking competition
- Visit by the Calabar Carnival Queen Contestants
The Calabar Family Show will be happening later in the day, paving way for ‘Afrofusion’ at night. According to information provided by the organizers, ‘The best performing Afro-fusion act’ becomes the ”Calfest Afro-fusion King 2013” and automatically qualifies for Calfest 2014.
Tonight’s event will feature Nigeria’s finest music brains, the likes of
- King Feladey
- Mike Okri
- Sunny Neji
- J Martins
- Effiom Trombone-Eyen Calabar
-Fadabasi
Venue is Millennium Park. The events will happen by 10am, 4pm, and 7pm respectively
