Paradise Music Award makes grand return in Cross River

                             
Paradise Awards returns this year, with a package that promises to be better than the former, the consultants; South Central Communications, in collaboration with the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria in Cross River State have announced the commencement of entry for the 2013 edition of Paradise Music Awards.

The aim is to have a vibrant and economic generating music industry where stakeholders in the industry in general, and musicians in particular are economically empowered, and this can only be achieved by creating an enabling music environment where creativity is revered and properly compensated. 
Paradise Award is not new, call it the pioneer all music creativity awards and you wont be wrong, the award ceremony made history in 2011 at the hall of Jorany Hotel, Calabar, where over 50 Cross Riverians were celebrated for their contributions towards the development of music in Cross River, other wise known as the Paradise City.

According to a release sent out by Effiom Trombone, the PMAN Chairman, "Cross River has been at the forefront of the musical scene over the years and has consistently produced amazing talents, from Inyang Nta Henshaw, Kingsley Burstic Bassey, Peter Effiom to Blacky, Feladey, Sunny Neji and more recently Iyanya to mention but a few which we hope to appreciate.  Everybody talks about performances but few talk about those who make performances happen (producers, studio and sound engineers) these awards recognises all the key players. These awards recognises the abundance of wonderful music coming out of Cross River and long that it may continue.

Paradise Award ceremony is slated for March 2014, categories and nomination procedures will be published soon.
