The entire state is agog today, based on the ruling by The High Court in Calabar, yesterday, that it had the jurisdiction to entertain the case instituted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) against Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) for excluding them from participating in the local government elections, just as the electoral body insisted the election would go on.
