Nominations for Cross River Movie Awards closed

Nominations entry for the maiden edition of Cross River Movie Awards – CRMA, was closed on Thursday, 11th July 2013. This was confirmed by a broadcast sent by Mr. Eric Anderson, the Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria in Cross River.

Nominations for the award opened penultimate month and was made public via a press release sent by the planning committee. Nominations for CRMA commenced on Thursday, 20th June and ran through to Thursday 11th July. As at when report was filled, all hands are on deck by the committee in charge of the award, to ensure a mind blowing event and a good portrayal of the award concept.

Nollywood will move to Cross River for Cross River Movie Awards,(CRMA) an award to celebrate, appreciate and motivate producers of movies shot in the State, with nomination not only open to indigenous movies, but also movies shot in Cross River state.
It is now confirmed, and you can make bold to say that come 28th of September, the creme de la creme of Nollywood-Nigeria's Movie Industry, will gather in the beautiful ambience of the Transcorp Metropolitan Hall Calabar, with light camera and action enjoying LIVE streaming on the internet for wide viewership, all for the Cross River Movie 48-category-Awards, in acknowledgement of the creativity, and deployment of same to better the movie industry in the state.
                                                                          

"We are expecting celebrities and top industry players like Ibinabo Fibresema, Kate Henshaw, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Shan George, Zik Zulu and a host of others. It is time to identify with those that identified with our 'Destination Cross River', and her talents, although the Cross River Movie Award is long overdue, but better late than never, and we hope to make it worth the wait with an impact that will last forever, Eric reinstated.
