Preparations are concluded for the August edition of Cross River Entertainment Industry Nite, (CREIN), holding on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Keves Lounge, Calabar.
The management and staff of Keves Inn & Suites, the venue, have assured that all is set to host the only event in the state which brings home based stars under one roof. In chat with the Public Relations Officer of the club , Miss Pamela, she expressed joy on behalf of her colleagues, saying that Keves is glad to identify with the project as a corporate social responsibility, in view of giving back to talents in the state, by creating a platform to enable the artistes hone their skills towards a flourishing career.
In her words, 'we at Keves are 100% ready to host the industry key players, we have just boosted our sound and lighting’. Starting from 8pm till dawn every first Thursday of the month,it's always an arena for fun, red carpet paparazzi, performances and networking’.
In a statement by the committee, the August edition will witness the grand entry of a new diva by the name Hillz, also featuring performances by Nicechriz, Strategy, Heyo Noni, Shark2Six, Johnny Kage, Teddy Banty, Calabar Professional Dance Group, DJ Harry Blast, DJ Miles, Upper X and the Okpo Rekords crew.
According to the convener, Effiom Trombone, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Cross River State, Hon. Eric Anderson will attend as the Special Guest of Honour and member of the State executive council whose office supervises the entertainment industry.
Other expected guests include Special Assistants to Governor on Carnival Planning, Hon Effiong Ekpenyong (Double E),SA to Governor on Admin/Events, Noel Ugbong, Brand Manager, HERO/Budweiser, Mr Gabriel Ameh, CEO, Calabar Blog, Hope Obeten and CEO of Wetinhappen.com, Mr Aniekan Ekah.
The event is packaged by South Central Communication and enjoys support from HERO Lager Beer, Keves Inn & Suites, Cross River State Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Events Management desk of the Governor's office.
Entry to the event is free, by this publication, all musicians, comedians, dancers, actors, disc jockeys, entertainment practitioners and service providers are expected to share the experience and to cheer up the performing artistes billed for the night.
