Nigeria’s award winning music sensations, Phyno, Kizz Daniel, Simi and others, are billed to thrill fans of “33” Export Lager Beer at the City of Friends, happening at Municipal Gardens in Calabar, this Saturday, July 28, 2018.
Bringing all the magic to wow fans with memorable performances on the City Of Friends stage are talented pop singer, Simi who is known and loved for her unique voice, fan favourite Kizz Daniel who is popular for back to back hits and Igbo rap artiste Phyno who will be looking to thrill audience with his signature Igbo verses and charisma.
Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager and Stout Brands, NB Plc, Emmanuel Agu, remarked on the event: “We are thrilled to be hosting the City of Friends, this has been a core theme of our brand and we revel in bringing these friendship experience to our customers across the country.”
He noted that “33” Export Lager Beer does not just want to celebrate friends on billboards and magazines, but opted to create a city, an enclosed funfair, for friends where great memories can be created and shared.
Eyen Calabar a.k.a Effiom Trombone and his South Central Band will be at home with the Calabar fans while holding it down for the lead stars. Other artistes slated to perform include Harrysongz, Fuji sensation, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and Akwa Ibom music export Mc Galaxy. The Lagos event will hold at the Eagles’ Club in Surulere on 3 – 4 August.
The “33” City of Friends event is part of the activities marking the United Nations World Friendship Day. Aside music and dance, there is also a provision for 33 games that friends can play, enjoy and also have the opportunity to win over 5,000 gift items at a venue slated for funfair and merriment for friends who long for an opportunity to create lasting memories amongst one another.
